The York County Corvette Club is a non-profit group of Corvette owners that come together over their common love of Corvettes and their common love of the community.  Along with this website the members also needed away to communicate with one another through a calendar and a message forum and ensure that the appropriate club officer was able to be reached through the website.

Banner Advertisements

The York County Corvette Club is supported by local businesses and what better way to give back to those who support you than by passing their card along, or in this case, banner advertisement.  MDI installed a Banner Advertisement rotation system and contacted the sponsors for updated graphics to ensure a clean and efficient banner system was in play.  As an added perk the system also tracks the exact number of banner impressions and click throughs to a sponsor's website which will be handy to any organization the next time the topic of sponsorship comes up.

Content Management System

All MDI websites are designed in one way or another to allow the end user to customize, add, change and delete content from their own website. 

Calendar of Events

More than just a group of car owners the York County Corvette Club is also a sanctioning body of the National Corvette Club.  Their sanctioned events as well as club meetings and special get togethers are all made available for the members to see directly on their homepage.

Customized Contacts

Each club officer is listed in the contacts on the website and each one has his or her own contact form which means that user of the website can send the club officer an email without us actually needing to reveal the club officer's private email address.  This feature protects email addresses from being 'poached' and is a standard feature on all websites.

Latest Weather

Shall we drive with the top down today?  Plan a Sunday ride next week?  The nature of YCCC's organization simply required a weather component so that members can easily see and track weather conditions directly from their website.

Links, Links, and more Links!

There are literally hundreds of Corvette clubs around the world and thousands of busiensses that cater to Corvette owners.  YCCC needed an easy way to manage their links.  MDI implimented a link management system that made arranging categories of links easy and members can even suggest new web links directly from their user menu so the latest 'hot find' can be easily added by the website administrator.

Message Forums

Car enthusiasts like to talk about their cars and now they can in a more collaborative environment.  After consulting with the club president MDI engineers designed and configured a message forum that allows the public to 'read' public forums.  Registered users to the website from the public can also post to those forums and get responses from club members and, as a special perk to members a special 'Members Only' section was added that is for YCCC members only.
